Dear Mr. Huff:
Please reference your revised Pre-Construction Notification application submission of
February 14, 2007 for Department of Army (DA) authorization to discharge fill material into
0.49 acres of jurisdictional wetlands adjacent to headwater wetlands, to facilitate the
development of a proposed subdivision. The proposed project area is located near the
intersection of Hwy 210 and Old Folkstone Road in Sneads Ferry, Onslow County, North
Carolina.
In a letter dated June 4, 2007, this Office sent a detailed request, with a two week response
deadline, for additional information. I also had a telephone conversation on July 25, 2007 with
your agent, Ms. Kim Williams of Land Management Group, Inc., and it was understood that a
response was not imminent. Since the suspense date for a response has been exceeded we must
now consider your application withdrawn and we will close the file. If at a later date you wish to
pursue the project, please resubmit a new application.
