Director NORTH CAROLINA Environmental Quality June 2, 2022 Mr. Larry Wright, WWTP Superintendent / ORC Town of Cherryville 116 South Main Street Cherryville, North Carolina 28021 Dear Mr. Wright: via Email Subject: Acknowledgement of Receipt - 2021 Annual Report Town of Cherryville - Permit No.: WQ0000430 Land Application of Residuals Gaston County The referenced Annual Report was received electronically on February 16th, 2022. Upon review the information submitted appears to meet program compliance. However, the report did not include copies of the Metals Field Loading Summary Form or the Prior Years Cumulative lbs./acre on the Field Summary Form, both of which provide for easy review / determination if CPLRs are properly calculated. This information is to be included in future reports and is a component of the DWR Residuals Annual Report forms. Soil reports show pH< 6 on all three fields with lime recommendations noted for corn, silage. It is recommended you consult with your soils lab and / or a licensed soil scientist or agronomist to determine if lime is required for the current crop(s) grown. When lime is applied, the Agricultural Lime Application Log should be updated with volume and dates applied and included in the following years' annual report. You may contact Maria Schutte at Maria.Schutte@ncdenr.gov or 704-235-2184 with questions. Sincerely, DocuSigned by: 114441w H P44 F161 FB69A2D84A3... Andrew H.
