Hinson Arms Apartments (NC0071706) had an inspection on 20 June 2022. The plant inspection
was performed by Mr. West with the Wilmington Regional office. The plant ORC, Sonny Scozzari,
was in attendance.
During the inspection, several deficiencies were noted. The new owners of Hinson Arms
Apartments are working on retaining a contractor to start repairs within the week. They will be
starting with the plant walls to stop the leaks on this aging plant. These are very costly repairs
for the new owners but every effort will be made in getting these deficiencies handled in a
timely manner.
As we move forward with these repairs, Hinson Arms will keep the State informed of each repair
as it is being made. Hinson Arms is making this their top priority. Since the State inspection on
20 June 2022, a new pump has been installed at the lift station (23 June 2022) and another has
been ordered from Sam's Motor Rewind in Jacksonville, N.C. as a backup pump.
