In a Notice of Violation (NOV) dated June 10, 2022, you were notified of one effluent limit violation for Annual Total
Nitrogen Load for calendar year 2021. In an email dated June 14, Bill Perkinson, Public Works Director for the Town of
Warrenton, informed this office that the Town of Warrenton is a member of the Tar -Pam Basin Association (TPBA). As
the TPBA was in compliance with its Total Nitrogen allocation for calendar year 2021, the Warrenton WWTP was also
in compliance.
It has been determined that the NOV dated June 10, 2022, against permit number NC0020834 was issued in error. The
NOV is hereby rescinded.
We appreciate Mr. Perkinson's diligence in speaking with staff about the facility's membership in the TPBA. If you
