Dear Mr. Allen,
On December 14, 2021, personnel from NCDEQ, DEMLR conducted a formal review of the
City of Greensboro Erosion and Sedimentation Control Program.
A report was presented to the Sedimentation Control Commission (SCC) on February 22,
2022. The Commission voted to Continue Delegation of administration of the Sedimentation
Pollution Control Act of 1973 to the City of Greensboro. Please continue to address the
deficiencies found during the formal review to maintain compliance with your delegated
authority. Consider implementing DEMLR recommendations listed in the review letter dated
December 21, 2021, to improve your program. Continue to reach out to the Winston-Salem
Regional Office and Central Office for any assistance you may need.
