House and boathouse has been on property since 1948

7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or
why it is necessary):
We wish to reinforce an old rock wall which was originally high and dry
back in 1948 with sand beach but beach has been eroded by larger boats
and their waves. The old "high and Dry" wall is now being lapped by the
waves as they come under the boathouse and hit the wall and it is
cracking. We plan to use Jay Freeman Masonry and Barge company to rip
rap the face of the wall to stabilize the shoreline. NEED TO DO ASAP AS
WALL IS ABOUT TO COLLAPSE TAKING WITH IT THE DECK
ABOVE. I HAVE CONTRACTOR STANDING BY FOR APPROVALS.
