Lines 7-9 on the Supplement-EZ Cover Page have been changed. The vegetated setbacks will remain vegetated. Crossing the vegetated setbacks of Quarry Creek is necessary to reach the development site. The Town of Granite Quarry requires 2 means of access for public safety reasons. The original design of multi -culvert crossings was changed to bridges to minimize the placement of built -upon area in the vegetated setback. Runoff from the Winding Creek Road bridge drains into an existing wetland, travels about 110 feet through the wetlands and enters an existing vegetated channel approximately 140 feet to Crane Creek. Runoff from the Emergency Access bridge discharges at the edge of the vegetated setback to Quarry Creek. Both discharges must pass through the vegetated setback in compliance with G.S. 143-214.7(b2)(2). 9. See response #4. 10.
