on-site landfill expected to have 60+ year lifespan• Permit onsite landfill with NCDEQ –Division of Waste Management• Landfill footprint of approximately 3.6 acres• Develop onsite borrow area to serve long term landfill operational and closure needs• Landfill will contain a synthetic liner system along with leachate collection system• Leachate will discharge to reconfigured lined SWMU-5• Landfill will be developed in phases to minimize active areas• Landfill will be utilized to dewater and collect sediments from existing SWMU-5• Temporary surge tanks will be needed during SWMU-5 dewatering www.erm.comSWMU-5 Reconfiguration Plan8• Raise floor elevation above seasonal high water table elevations • Install synthetic liner system to reduce infiltration• Consolidate pond footprint;
