This is in response to the Notice of Violation letters dated April 26, 2022. For August, September,
October, November, December of 2021, and January and February of 2022 I did not sample for chlorine,
total residual and total pH. September 2021, I did not sample of TSS, BOD, fecal coliform, ammonia,
TKN, nitrate, total nitrate and total phosphorus. I did not realize my permit had added these 2
parameters, chlorine, total residual and pH to be checked weekly, until I received the NOV letters. I will
start checking these weekly. As for the September (3 times/year) sample I had just taken over as
assistant maintenance director and my back-up ORC, which is the Maintenance Director, was out on
medical leave and I overlooked sampling in September. Hopefully this will be taken into consideration
and no civil penalty will be assessed. Please contact me if you have any questions.
