Station inspection by C. Hambridge. Engine from FS 4 was being washed with Dawn soap and washwater was flowingto
the storm drain. Lvnx Car wash and Wax deterrent bucket was connected to the wash systm atthe station.

Phone call received and C. Costner and C Hambridge went outto the site, talked to the manager, told them to stop using
it. clean it ub and suggested kittv liter. Sureested that thev contact the compactor comoanv.
Kitty liter spread around, but some puddles remaining. Compator was still operating and leaking.. Talk to the manager
a gain and told him to not use it until they cleaned up. Must collect all the liquid, could use a bucket. Need to clean up

Spoke to Felix, ma nager, cell 704-712-3252. He sa id that the waste com pa my ca me a nd cha nged out the u n it th is
ormne. I wil call and meet him out there tomorrow morn me at 9 AM.
Visited the site and met with the onsite Store Manager. He told me that the All Points compactor had been emptied and
cleaned by the waste company. He showed me that they have bolted the inside loading door to the compactor closed
and are discontinuing its use. They have contracted with a new company (Waste Management) and are using two
regular dumpsters which will be emptied more frequently. They have instructed the waste company (WM) to make sure
that the units do not leak, and thatthe drain hole caps are in place. I suggested thatthey bagthe material placed in the
new dumpsters. I told him thatthe spills and material (oil dry) material around the compactor needed to be removed.
They want to ma ke sure that it has soaked up all ofthe puddled material before removal. Some odor atthe compactor
remained.
Drove by by C. Hambridge. Compactor looked good, trucks in the way of the new dumpsters, but otherwise no indication
of issues

Person reportedly living in a camper and disposing waste into the stormdrain.
CZH visited the site and spoke to Mr. Steve Boger, who verbally confirmed that trailer is hookup to the stormdrain. Mr.
Boger said that he would take care of it today. His brother is living in the trailer temporarily, and he is disabled. I
suggested that his brother use the indoor bathroom facilities. I plan to revisit tomorrow, and ask to physically see the
disconnection.
CZH stopped by in the morning and spoke to Mr. Boger. He showed me thatthe trailer was moved to the grass area and
wasnolonger being used at the property. He also showed me the location of catch basins that are on his property.
These are not on our City GI S and some go under the building. The pipe appears to carry off -sir public drainage. He also
told me about how manv homeless beome urinate and defecate in the catch basin alone McCaulev Street.

Oil silled and flowed to a stormdain. Toil dry" was applied and much of it was contained and cleaned up.
More cleanup needed. Material did not appear to rcachrhecreek. Fire Dept remained on site to supevise the company
to abbly more Oli Dry and to sweeb it ub ara in to remove more of the oil on the bavement.
Point of stormdrain discharee to wet ditch was observed with no evidence of oil to the ditch.
Fire Debt checked downstrem stormdra in110+/-ft. decor by dibbine in a Hvdrobhobic oil sobant cloth on a bole and

Da rk stains on bavement and wash/rinse residue running off of cars at exit of car wash. flows directly to stormdrain.
C. Hambridge and C. Costner visted site and talked to the manager about the discharge. They said that they were going
to clean the area and look into how they could prevent the water from running off. They thought that the problem was
aused by water inside truck beds.

Site visit and no solution implemented Spoke with Manager. He said they could wash it down periodically, but I told him
that thevwould need to collectthe water. Thevare workineon fndinea solution.

Revisit site, filter material atstormdrain is not being maintained. See Photos. It appears that customers arethrowing
trash over the fence to the creek.
Creek looked clean and there were two filter bags at the stormdrain inlet. Manager was not on duty. Spoke to an
attendant who did not know the type of filter bags breing used. He said that they maintain them and it is a priority. I
spoke to him about the trash on the other side of the fence. He said that they clean up the trash on their side of the
fence niehtly and would check the other side of the fence.

Someone punctured a hole in the gas tank of a City truck (Used by Laand Development)
Gasoline was leaking onto the ashalt caking. None entered the stormdrian. Fire Haz mat responded, plugged the hole
with puty, place a container under the leak and and applied kitty liter to the spill. Truck was towed to the city garage.
Police were called beaccuse it was a crime.
The gas tank size is 3C gallons. Accordine to Terrell Jackson l truck oeeratorl the tank was only about half full. It
The amount of gas stolen was not determined. Based on the amount on the ground, it was estimated to be less than 5
allons
The Streets Department was called to sweep up the kity liter in the morning.
Checked site and verified street sweeper has cleaned up the kitty liter
