Final reduction is achieved by running the digested sludge through a furnace at consistent heat for a controlled time. The heat reduces the sludge to a Class "A" residual that is available to be used by the public. Sampling Describe sampling: Composite sampling is performed at the discharge point of the furnanace to verify PVAR has been achieved. Yes No NA NE Is sampling adequate? Is sampling representative? Comment: The laboratory analytical data of the quarterly sampling events indicate the sampling is representative of the residuals being produced at the WWTP.
