April, would you like to join us for a site visit? If so, do you have a couple of dates of availability? 1 Colleen Cohn Environmental Specialist II North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality Division of Water Resources Raleigh Regional Office 3800 Barrett Drive Raleigh, NC 27609 Office: 919-791-4258 E-mail correspondence to and from this address may be subject to the North Carolina Public Records Law and may be disclosed to third parties. I recently spoke with Stephanie Goss in regards to a problem we had over the weekend with the excessive rain. The amount of rain we got caused the pond in the center of the neighborhood to overflow and it was too much volume for the spillway designated for runoff. The overflow came down our driveway with enough force to knock down a section of privacy fence at the bottom of the driveway, and escape under the fence at the back of the property into the stream out back and caused massive erosion to the stream bank and into our backyard. The hole is around 4 ft x 4 ft x 25 ft long. Please let me know when we can set up a site visit to evaluate options and remedy this issue. I have photos and a video I will forward to you to get an idea of the damage. Thank you, Scott Lumpkin 919-623-5417 2
