I have read that this is not the solution for Jordan Lake and that we need to look at the Clean Water Act to actually clean the lake. I read that the Solarbee would be a temporary fix and might make the situation worse. The Solarbee did not help in another location in NC as far as restoring water quality and didn't do a good enough job in other parts of the country either from what I have read about the Solarbees. Also, are these mixers a potential boating hazard? If so, another reason not to do this method. It appears to be an experiment that seems low cost in the short -term but if it fails, we are that much further behind in finding a long -term, better solution. Please don't allow this experiment!
