Dear Permittee:
The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the Hamlet Collection
System on 5/02/2022. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in
compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Collection System Permit No. WQCS00126.
The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the
inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report".
There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this
inspection report is not required.

Inspection Summary:
All records and log books were very well organized and appeared to be complete and current. A copy of the collection
system permit, spill response plan, sewer use ordinance, map of the system and capital improvement plan were all available
for review. High priority are being inspected at least twice per year. The annual 10% line cleaning requirement was exceeded
for the previous year. Right of ways are mowed and accessible in the event of an emergency. Pump stations appeared to be
operated and maintained properly with good record keeping.
