Dear Mr. Coppola:
On May 4, 2022, Dorothy M Robson of the Raleigh Regional Office reviewed the 2021 Land Application
Annual Report for permit WQ0023178. The report was received February 23, 2022. The report was
prepared by Branch Residuals & Soils, LLC.
According to the report, the Town of Clayton (Little Creek Water Reclamation Facility) processed a total of
352.84 dry tons of Class B biosolids. The biosolids were dispersed as follows:
•Triple S Farms & Cleaning land applied 142.1 tons to 106.72 acres (7 fields) as stipulated in the
WQ0023178 permit dated October 5, 2020.
•Triple S Farms applied 199.94 dry tons to land permitted under WQ30998.
•Triple S Farms transported a total 10.8 dry tons of dewatered cake to Johnston County Landfill
throughout the year.
The facility also analyzed the residuals for non -hazardous constituents, metals, nutrients, pathogen and
vector attraction reductions as stipulated in the October 5, 2020 permit. There were no significant issues
or findings noted in the report review and therefore, a response to this review is not required.
