I write to you in your capacity with the Army Corp of Engineers whose responsibility it is
to review and approve /disapprove the proposed solution to our polluted Jordan Lake. I
understand from my reading on this subject that the proposed "fix" by SolarBee is inadequate
to the job. In addition it poses possible hazards to recreational users and is experimental
at best (it has not been tried for lakes the size of Jordan).
Citizens living in this densely populated area of the Triangle require stronger measures that
will control pollutants at their source. To that end, I write to respectfully request that you
reject the SolarBee permit now. Thank you for your consideration.
