Dear U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Wilmington District Mr. Justin Bashaw,
I urge you to pleased not approve the use of SolarBees on Jordan Lake. The pollution must be treated at the source of
the problem, not downstream in public waters. Floating mixers (known as SolarBees) downstream do not comply with
federal law.
The nitrogen and phosphorus pollution comes from upstream sources and these unproven floating mixers do not treat
that. We need to stop the pollution UPSTREAM now and not wait for these devices to fail.
Please oppose the use of SolarBees on Jordan Lake.
