Dear Mr. Bashaw,
We in North Carolina need your help to protect Jordon Lake from a short term ineffective effort to clean up, with a
floating circulating system that will delay true cleanup, and likely make things worse regarding the toxic load in the lake.
The North Carolina General Assembly has been turning back environmental protections for too long, and the recent
climate of setting us back is truly disheartening. Please step in to assure that Jordan Lake is truly cleaned up, not
"covered up ". Your holding NC's feet to the fire on cleaning up Jordan Lake would be a grand step in the right direction,
and a positive influence for the entire state.
I greatly appreciate your time and consideration of this important issue.
