This project will not remove pollutants from the water, and will not prevent more pollution from entering
the lake. SolarBee is not the solution to our water quality problems. It's a bad and costly attempt to prevent the
much needed actions to stop pollution at its upstream source!
There is little to no evidence that these mixers will be successful. SolarBee has only been tested in small bodies
of water, not large lakes like Jordan. A recent test of SolarBee in Cabarrus County, NC did not result in
restored water quality.
Jordan Lake needs for upstream towns to clean up their pollution, not some short -term untested technology.
