This report was also emailed to Michael Montebello in NC Department of Environmental Quality's (NCDEQ) Division of Water Resources (DWR) Pretreatment, Emergency Response & Collections Systems (PERCS) Unit. I. This system serves Airport tenants and customers through approximately 12 miles of sanitary sewer lines and 20 duplex pump/lift stations. Performance Water Reclamation Facility (NC0048879) and/or to Raleigh's Neuse River Resource Recovery Facility (NC0029033). North Carolina General Statute §143-215.1C requires the Airport Authority to prepare and post an annual collection system performance report. The system performance over the respective twelve-month period is summarized below: Reportable bypasses or spills: • There were no reportable bypasses or spills for this reporting period. Violations: • There were no violations for this reporting period. III. Notification This report is also available at the Airport Authority Administrative Offices. To request a copy or to request further information regarding the Raleigh -Durham International Airport Wastewater Collection System, please contact the Airport Authority's Director of Environmental Programs at (919) 840-7700. Of note, the Authority submitted a permit renewal application in April 2021, but has not yet received correspondence from NCDEQ regarding the renewal status. Inquiries to DWR staff indicated there was a backlog but a timeline for when to expect the renewed permit was not provided.
