Francis Ferrell BE Jordan Lake US Army Corps of Engineers 919 - 542 -4501 x 28 - - - -- Original Message---- - From: Bill Jensen [ma ilto: bill iensen @ nc.rr.com] Sent: Tuesday, March 18, 2014 11:45 AM To: DLL - CESAW- JORDAN SAW Cc: Bill & Pat Sutton; 'Haw Riverkeeper' Subject: [EXTERNAL] SolarBee Permit and Jordan Lake Nutrient Strategy Rules Gentlemen, As a councilman for the Town of Apex, I urge the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers to require that the State of North Carolina immediately reinstate the Jordan Lake Reservoir Nutrient Strategy Rules as a requirement for a permit to test the SolarBee water aerators. The SolarBee test and delay of the Jordan Lake Nutrient Strategy Rules is nothing more than a ruse to allow additional development upriver without the need to properly manage the nutrients flowing into the Haw River and eventually into Jordan Lake. I trust you will see through this trickery. Please see the attached Resolution by the Apex Town Council. With warmest regards, Bill Jensen MSME,PE,GCB Classification: UNCLASSIFIED Caveats: NONE
