There is no evidence that these poorly - conceived floating mixers will clean up the pollution. Jordan Lake is plagued by nitrogen and phosphorus pollution from upstream sources and these mixers do not treat that type of pollution. When these mixers fail to do their job, the condition of Jordan Lake will be worse than ever. I grew up in Durham and visited Jordan Lake often to go boating and enjoy the beaches. The pollution it has faced in recent years needs to be cleaned up properly so that it can continue to be a popular recreational area and drinking water source to many. Please oppose the use of SolarBees on Jordan Lake. Thank you. Sincerely, Alison Smitley 1403 Sycamore Street Raleigh, NC 27604
