SUBJECT: Allocation for Burlington Industries
Williamsburg Plant
Caswell County
The allocation for Burlington Industries Williamsburg Plant was
originally determined using Tsivoglou's old K2 equation. When the model
was re-evaluated using the new, flow adjusted K2 equations, the allowable
allocation was 42 mg/1 BODult. This would allow limits of 30 mg/1 BODS,
3 mg/1 NH3 and 6 mg/1 D.O. These new limits are presently being circulated
for approval.

This wasteload allocation request should include a
domestic discharge of 25,000 GPD + 8640 GPD at points
001 and 002 for a total of 33,640 GPD. 74 % domestic
and 26 % industrial. "DISG1dA2-GtE Poi JT bat DDEs IJtDT'"
FLOW 1 M SoMMEft.
There is also a discharge at point 003 which is all
cooling water with a flow of 2160 GPD in winter and
10,800 GPD in summer.

Point D is a storm sewer for building run off and bleed off from cooling
towers combined. Point E contains bleed off from air washers and joins
the effluent from the wastewater treatment plant at point F and flows
into the unnamed tributary to Buttermilk Creek.
