This review reflected compliance with the subject permit. Other observations: • 2,481 tons of compost were produced and 1,132 tons were distributed. • Based on distribution, quarterly sampling was required. Sampling was completed six times per year. Sampling was completed on 2/3, 4/7, 6/2, 8/4, 10/6, and 12/1. • TCLP was completed last calendar year. TCLP is required once per permit cycle. • pH was less than 6 on 2/3, 4/7, 10/6, and 12/1. • 14 day aerobic digestion (composting) was used for pathogen and vector reduction requirements. • Reported SAR values were different than staff calculated values. On 2/3 the reported value was 1.29 and the calculated value was 1.23. On 4/7 the reported value was 1.37 and the calculated value was 1.30. On 6/2 the reported value was 1.42 and the calculated value was 1.36. On 8/4 the reported value was 1.27 and the calculated value was 1.29. On 10/6 the reported value was 1.29 and the calculated value was 1.33. On 12/1 the reported value was 1.54 and the calculated value was 1.34. There is no concern for salt content in the compost. Please provide SAR calculations with the next annual report.
