Treatment unit is permitted under Certification of Coverage (CoC) #NCG550243. Discharge is to an unnamed tributary to Afton Run which is classified as Class C waters in the Yadkin Pee -Dee River Basin. Septic tank last reported being pumped in 2018. Sandfilter is a single pass filter with no liner. Influent into sandfilter can infiltrate into soil beneath sand and not produce a discharge to surface waters. There was no discharge at time of inspection. Discharge point was dry with no indication of flow.
