Russell Allen, City Manager City of Raleigh 222 West Hargett Street Raleigh, NC 27602 Subject Property: City of Raleigh -Oxford Road Crabtree Creek [030402, 27-33-(10), C, NSW] 303d REQUEST FOR MORE INFORMATION Dear Mr. Allen: On August 15, 2006, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received your application dated July 17, 2006, to fill or otherwise impact 1621inear feet of perennial stream impact, and 3,240 square feet of Zone 1 Neuse River basin protected riparian buffers, to perform the proposed stream bank restoration. The DWQ has determined that your application was incomplete and/or provided inaccurate information as discussed below. The DWQ will require five copies of the additional information requested in order to process your application to impact protected wetlands and/or streams on the subject property. This project has been placed on hold until the following criteria has been meet. Please provide the following information so that we may continue to review your project. Additional Information Requested: 1. Please show all stream impacts including all fill slopes, dissipaters, and bank stabilization on the site plan. 2. Please indicate all buffer impacts on the site plan. 3. Please indicate the location of the protected buffers as overlays on the site plan, clearly showing Zone 1 and Zone 2. 4. Please resubmit your application using the attached March, 2005 Version of the PCN application. If we do not hear from you within three weeks, we will assume that you no longer want to pursue this project and we will consider the project as withdrawn. This letter only addresses the application review and does not authorize any impacts to wetlands, waters or protected buffers. Please be aware that any impacts requested within your application are not authorized (at this time) by the DWQ.
