Inspection Summary:
This is an Annual Report Review. A site visit was not conducted as part of this review.
In 2021, The Town of Mooresville will continue efforts to remove material from the on -site Monofill. TCLP analysis was
performed before sending the solids to a private landfill for final disposal. No elevated TCLP constituents were reported in the
analytical data.
No sludge has been placed into the monofill for over ten years.
The MRO recommends the continued removal of material from the Monofill.

Comment: There are currently elevated Nitrates in several wells surrounding the Monofill. The Town of
Mooresville has entered into a contract with Blue Ridge Environmental consultants to perform
further assessment for MW-7 well and install a replacement well.

Comment: Hauling records indicate 312 tons of material was removed from the Monofill and sent to
Republic Landfill for final storage during the 2021 year.
