Obtain plan approval and other applicable permits. 2. Delineate property boundaries within project area, buffer limits, and limits of construction. 3. All equipment is to be stored and fueled in a protected area outside the designated buffer 4. Hold preconstruction conference no more than one week prior to starting construction. 5. Begin installation of rip rap toe at the upstream location of the tie into existing bank. 6. Place non -woven geotextile as indicated in the typical section leaving enough width to wrap the fabric on the back of the rip rap. 7. Place the rip rap as indicated on the plans and as directed by the engineer or their delegate. 8. If required when the equipment can no longer reach from the top of the bank, install access ramp on bank behind the installed rip rap so no active flow can reach the disturbed material. In lieu of building the ramp, a long reach excavator may be used. 9. Continue the rip rap toe to the tie at the downstream end of the project. 10. Wrap geotextile around back of rock toe. 11. Place fill material such that all new material is placed, compacted, and temporarily mulched within the same day it is placed (if geolifts are not completed the same day). Site is to be temporarily stabilized at the end of each day. 12.Begin to place fill material behind the rock toe which will act as a berm to protect newly placed fill from active flow. 13. When fill material is within 10" - 12" of the top of the rip rap toe, place woven coir matting backed by non -woven coir to create a lift on top of the rock toe, as indicated on the plans. Drape the first soil geolift over the front face of the rip rap toe as indicated on the plans. 14. Continue to place fill material to approximatly 1' above the top of the rip rap toe creating the first geolift. 15.Continue constructing geolifts as outlined on Sheet 5 until bankfull elevation is reached. 16.Lime, fertilize, seed (temporary and permanent) and straw mulch all disturbed areas along channel as specified in construction documents. 17.Secure matting with stakes as indicated on the plans. 18.Install remaining fill to existing grade at no more than 2:1 slope. 19.Lime, fertilize, seed (temporary and permanent) and straw mulch all disturbed areas along channel as specified in construction documents. 20.Install woven coir matting per Sheet 7 to a minimum of 2' beyond the top of the bank or as directed by the engineer or their delegate. 21.Plant woody vegetation if soil and plant conditions permit. 22.AII erosion and sediment control practices will be inspected weekly and after each rainfall event.
