a) Outfalls to Outstanding Resource Waters (ORW) and High Quality Waters (HQW) have a Monthly Average Effluent Limit for TSS of 20 mg/L and a Daily Maximum Effluent
Limit of 30 mg/L. Outfalls to Trout Waters (Tr) and Primary Nursery Areas (PNA) have a Monthly Average Effluent Limit for TSS of 10 mg/L and a Daily Maximum Effluent
Limit of 15 mg/L. Industrial Sand and Phosphate mines discharging to all other water classification have a Monthly Average Effluent Limit for TSS of 25 mg/L and a Daily
Maximum Effluent Limit of 45 mg/L.
b) See H-5 of the NCG020000 General Permit for turbidity requirements.
c) Only outfalls to HQW, ORW, SA, SB, PNA, or Tr waters are required to monitor for Settleable Solids.
d) Only outfalls to SA waters are required to monitor for Fecal Coliform
e) Only outfalls to SA, SB, and SC waters are required to monitor for Enterococcus
