Thanks for the thorough review. From your efforts, I'm inclined to go with the opinions you and Chris have on these
streams. If Eric agrees, then this chart satisfies the condition as far as our permit goes. I'll include this as documentation

Eric and Rob,
The NCDENR -DWQ and USACE permits for this project contain direction regarding 20% burial of pipe structures in the
stream bed. However field conditions reveal that it would be more beneficial for long term stability if some pipes were
instead buried only 10% and others set on natural ground. Chris Murray and I conducted a review of every pipe crossing
and suggest the burial changes presented within the attached table. These determinations were based on conditions
such as where a large pipe is to be installed at an intermittent channel, where the channel does not appear to convey
significant amounts of sediments, or where a pipe was conveying stream flow through a system of constructed base
ditches. Also no burial is recommended in wetland areas or where the stream starts below the pipe outlet.
Please note that extensive amounts of bed rock exists on this project and should rock conflict with proper pipe burial,
our office will notify you of those situations.
