Do not click links or open attachments unless you verify. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Report Spam. Bethany, Zahid, Alaina, and Brittany, Per the general permit for CommScope, Inc. (NCG030000) — Catawba Facility (under COC NCG030078), sampling was completed on the following ROS outfalls on March 9t", 2022 with a rainfall event totaling 1.23" of rain: ROS Outfall 003, 004, 005, 006, 008, 009, and 012. For this event all parameters were below the benchmark EXCEPT for one: 1) The benchmark for Zinc under General Permit NCG030000 is 0.126 mg/L. The result obtained for Zinc for Outfall 012 was 0.145 mg/L, which exceeded the benchmark of 0.126 mg/L. 2) This exceedance will be documented in the SWPPP, and corrective action steps will be implemented to reduce this exceedance. Furthermore, best management practices will be utilized to assist with this reduction as well. Please note that we feel that this March sampling event is a more accurate representation of the facility as with respect to stormwater than compared with the February 3rd, 2022 sampling event. Now, for the March 91", 2002 sampling event, the facility exceeded zinc for one outfall (012). The result was 0.145 mg/L, which shows a decline from the 0.17 mg/L result obtained in February. For this facility (just like the one at Claremont), we will also be conducting some non-stormwater background sampling to further investigate the exceedances (from both February and March). Please let me know if you need anything further, and you all have a very blessed day. Thank you for your assistance with this matter. Please feel free to call me at 336-366-0870 if you need any other information. Be safe! Nicole Johnston
