filed a request for tax certification for real and personal property e covered under Industrial User Permit LLP-
005 under the Division of Water Resources Permit Number NC0024333(Monroe WWTP).
Staff of the Division of Water Resources inspected these treatment units and/or equipment on March 15th,
2022 and found, based on the information supplied by the applicant, that the facilities and/or equipment
listed on the attached application and approved on the attached inspection sheet meet the following
requirements for Tax Certification:
1. The property has been,or will be,constructed or installed;
2. The property complies with, or if still under construction will comply with, the requirements of the
EMC;
3. The property is being effectively operated,or will when completed be required to operate,in accordance
with the terms and conditions of approvals issued by the EMC;and
4. The property has, or when completed will have, as its primary rather than incidental purpose the
reduction of water pollution resulting from the discharge of sewage or waste.
Please note that as part of this Tax Certification process the DEQ staff did not make any efforts to
