3. Project Description:
3a. Describe the existing conditions on the site and the general land use in the vicinity of the project at the time of this application:
Existing conditions presently are a wooded shoreline of about 240 lineal feet of
riverbank, of which the easterly extremity was washed out by Hurricane Florence.
The .76 acre lot has a residential structure and may be considered suburban
residential.

4. Proposed Activity
Provide a detailed description of the proposed activity including its purpose and include the type of equipment to be used:
See .pdf 1370&1372. To line the sand/mud flats from water edge with approximately
50' of sediment control wattle. Fill lower 6'- 8'
with clean concrete rubble and cover with class 1 rip rap, along lineal frontage.(See
profile in pdf 1370 &1372.) What can't be reached by backhoe from the undisturbed
historic river bank, will be hand placed. The area above the rip rap will be filled with
broken bricks, and clean concrete rubble , overlain by 3'-8' sand and topsoil. Finish
grading accomplished by hand. Area to be sodded with centipede grass, saw
palmetto and cypress seedlings
