All,
Attached please find the final MS4 Permit renewal for Sandy Point, issued in conformance with
the New Urban Development requirements established in N.C.S.L. 2004-117. The permit is also
available in the Stormwater Program Laserfiche Repository. The new permit is effective March 16,
2022 through March 15, 2027.
The final permit includes one change to the published draft permit. The permit requires an annual
report letter, including resident population as of June 30 of each year, to be submitted prior to
August 31 of each year. Once the development project is under construction and the resident
population triggers Stormwater Management Plan requirements, then the annual self-assessment
requirements will apply.
The issuance of this permit concludes all required actions under Notice of Deficiency number
NOD-2019-PC-0211, and this action has been officially closed.
If you have any questions, I am best reached via email.
