We are working on the benchmark exceedances for copper and zinc for Outfall 003 for CommScope Claremont
(NCG030650). We are informing maintenance of corrective actions that need to be taken to resolve these
exceedances. To be specific, we have advised maintenance staff that all metal stored outside needs to be covered and
needs to be placed away from any storm drains. Any metal sitting near storm drains must be removed. For construction
sites, please make sure that all dumpsters are covered and that any construction debris that is metal is covered as
well. This has also been documented in the SWPPP.
