Mr. Hayes — We have been able to close the discharge pipe at the point of entry into the subsurface as requested. The
discharge pipe was filled with insulation foam followed by waterproof expandable concrete mix. We have included
pictures below.
Please continue to rescind Permit NCG10188. Thank you!

The system is really old and hasn't run for over a decade. Based on our notes, the discharge went into a storm sewer
that is receiving sheet flow from the surrounding land/pavement, so we are looking for the best way to show you all that
the discharge point has been eliminated. Is disconnecting the system and grouting the underground pipe at the point of
entry into the subsurface an option?
