Mr Rogers.
My name is H C SHEARIN . I received a letter from Rick Bolich saying I owe $2430.00 for 2019- 2021 . I was very shocked
and thought no fee had to be paid since cape lookout environmental had done alot of work at this location and had
satisfied your department . The other reason is that I have never received any invoices or any communication yearly for
these years which would have been a whole lot easier to be able to pay instead of $2430.00 bill at one time . I have
been paying all this cost out of my individual pocket since comer oil company the owner of the tank has closed and
dissolved since 2013 which legally I probably should not been paying and letting the trust fund or state take up the
expenses from that time. I would appreciate you calling or texting me at 252 903 0734 to discuss this or if you like to e-
mail me at [e-mail] . I would also like to know if I have to pay this amount your department is
requesting will this be the last time I have to pay to close the site and no more fees. Please get in touch and let me

Mr. Rogers contacted me to say that the permit fees now three years pas due must men paid to close the permit
and stop the annual assessment. Please contact him ASAP to resolve. The fees are statuatory and apparently can
not be waived.
