Dear Mr. Snider,
Pace Analytical is the contract operator for Central Care Nursing Home. As the
representative for Central Care Nursing Home and owner, David Payne, Pace Analytical is
officially requesting a minor pennit modification. We are requesting that the monitoring
frequency for effluent temperature be changed from daily to weekly.
We believe this request to be reasonable due to the fact that other grade I sand filter
systems and DEQ's classifications under 15A NCAC086.0302 requires weekly effluent
temperature monitoring.
Also, contracting Pace Analytical or another operator to monitor the effluent for daily
temperature would put a financial strain on Central Care's operating budget.
We would greatly appreciate if you would take this minor permit modification under
consideration.
