Please consult with any other local, state or federal agencies that may require a permit or authorization before

Subject: CAMA Public Trust JD NC 137 Crossing Jady Branch Gates County
Greg:
NCDOT Bridge Maintenance forces have discovered some pipe scour issues at a double barrel concrete box culvert
crossing of Jady branch in Gates County near the community of Eure. Both the inlet and outlet end of this pipe have
scour holes. NCDOT plans to fill them with Class B riprap to protect the toe wall and prevent undermining.
Is this location within the Public Trust Area AEC for Jady Branch? If it is, what type of DCM authorization will be required
to complete the proposed repair?
Thanks for your time spent investigating and responding to my questions. Hope you have a good weekend.
