Describe the attachments or comments: This is a courtesy notification that NCDOT will be undertaking scour repair/protection of an existing double barrel concrete box culvert in a jurisdictional stream under Nationwide Permit 3 conditions. location is the NC 137 crossing of Jady Branch,Stream Index 25-12,near Eure in Gates County. The Wakefield wall has 2'of scour on the outlet end and as much as-7.5'on the inlet side. NCDOT proposes to protect the Wakefield wall with class B riprap impacting approximately 400 ft2 on the inlet side and 234 ft2 on the out side.
