Mr. Boone could not make positive contact with any of the permit contacts listed in our database prior to the inspection, so he simply made a site visit. Upon arrival at the facility, Mr. Boone found it completely fenced, gated, and locked, with no activity. Further investigation post -inspection revealed the company ceased operations in 2010 but wanted to maintain the permit in case the facility was reactivated at some point in the future. In an effort to keep the permit properly active, please contact Mr. Boone at your earliest convenience to update your contact information in our database. Please be aware that the Division may take enforcement action against any permittee who fails to comply with any requirement of their permit. Pursuant to NC General Statute (NCGS) 143-215.6A, a civil penalty of not more than twenty-five thousand dollars ($25,000.00) may be assessed against any person who violates or fails to act in accordance with the terms, conditions, or requirements of any permit issued pursuant to G.S. 143-215.1.
