Good afternoon Lauren,
Please accept this email as an official request for a 60 day Extension for the submittal of The
Cottages of Boone Permit Renewal Application additional and supportive information, as well as the
requested Permit Modification Application originally scheduled for submittal by February 7, 2021.
We are requesting an extension due to scheduling delays with Brooks Engineering to complete and
submit signed and sealed engineering documents for the knife valve and Equalization Basin Overflow
modifications. All required information, applications, and engineering documentation will be
submitted on or before April 6, 2022, in one packet, as requested by DEQ staff. The most recent
correspondence from Brooks Engineering has suggested that they are 4-6 weeks from getting
started on the required engineering documents.
We appreciate your time and attention to this matter, and thank you for working with The Cottages
of Boone to get the Permit Renewal and Permit Modifications completed. Your response is greatly
