In consideration for cost associated with the diversion, certain "reserved" flows were allocated for the Cureton development. These permit applications are forwarded in support of this agreement Union County Public Works is able to accept the flow resultant from issuance of these permits. The activation of the diversion of flow from the 12 Mile Creek WWTP to the Six Mile Creek Outfall by re-routing the TarKill Pump Station has reduced the actual flow treated at the 12 Mile Creek WWTP by approximately 100,000 gpd. In addition the expansion of the 12 Mile Creek WWTP from 3.0 mgd to 6.0 mgd is expected to be completed and operational next month. The construction and ultimate addition of flow into our collection system resultant from the consideration of these permits will occur in approximately 4 months. These factors combined demonstrate any additional flow resultant from issuance of these permits will not be contributory to our system in such a manor as to cause any exceedance °four discharge permit limit at our 12 Mile Creek facility. Additionally there are no hydraulic restraints or areas of concern for sanitary sewer overflows in the collection system servicing this area, With this information, Union County Public Works respectfully request the state consider issuing these permits as submitted, Please let us know if we can provide any further information.
