This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Non-discharge Permit No. WQ0032855. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report". There were no significant issues or findings noted during the inspection and therefore, a response to this inspection report is not required. This inspection was conducted to verify there had been no significant changes to the fields and acreage that may affect setbacks. Application was not occurring at the time of the inspection. Zach Key was present and assisted in the inspection. The fields transferred ownership in 2021. No changes reported or noted at the time of the inspection. All historical buffers still appear to be adequate, and most of the fields appear to have a healthy vegetative cover. Fields are maintained in fescue. Several fields are rarely used due to accessibility and topography (4 & 17). Field 4 is not used very often and would need to be cleared and reseeded before use. There is still adequate acreage to accommodate the solids produced by Rutherfordton on an annual basis. US Biosolids spread on fields 5, 6, 8, 10, 11 & 14 in 2021. Since ownership has changed, please clarify if any additional fertilizers are used. Any additional fertilizer use will need to be calculated into the PAN loading rate.
