In reference to the violation listed for the October 2021 Discharge Monitoring Report (DMR) for the subject facility
the Daily Maximum violation, being exceptionally high, does not confomi to the other results for the month. I do not
think that this result is a valid result from viewing the data before and after the 14th. Although we can not prove that
the sample was contaminated, eitherby our sampler or by the laboratory, I believe that it was compromised to some
extent. The functionality and performance of the facility did not change during the month of October and all parame-
ters expected were met. a,
I hope this will be taken into consideration when addressing enforcement action forthese violations.
