Cause or Reason for the Upset/Spill/Bypass:
Heavy rains 3.5 inches in 31 hours, and a stopped up sludge return (leaves).
Describe the Repairs Made or Actions Taken:
Maintenance worked with jetter 9 hours to unstop return. Blowers were turned off to settle
plant into aeration and stop upset. Clarifiers and effluent looked good by 19:00 0110212022.
Aerators were turned back on and normal operation continued.
Action Taken to Contain S ill Clean Up and Remediate the Site if applicable):
Action Taken or Proposed to be Taken to Prevent Occurrences:
Engineers are working at this time to secure a grant to help with inflow and infiltration
problems.

Blowers were turned off to settle plant into aeration and stop upset. Clarifiers and effluent
were not losing by 10:00 01/03/2022. Aerators were heft off by operator and composite
samplers were started as normal.
Action Taken to Contain Spill, Clean Up and Remediate the Site (if applicable):
Mike's Septic was called to clean out chlorine contact chamber.
Action Taken or Proposed to be Taken to Prevent Occurrences:
Engineers are working at this time to secure a grant to help with inflow and infiltration
problems.
