From: Scheller, Roberto Sent: Monday, December 09, 2013 1:00 PM To: May, David Cc: Higgins, Karen Subject: Project 2009 -0757 Ver.2 Bay Lakes David: Review of data submitted to this Office by Land Management Group Inc. on December 4, 2013 is complete. Review of data indicate that Dissolved Oxygen (DO) within Bay Lakes is equal to or better that DO in Taylor Creek and Chocowinity Bay. As noted in the report by Land Mgt. connections presently exist between Bay Lake and Taylors Creek. Current data supports data submitted to this Office by land Mgt. in the past. Therefore, based on the information submitted for the subject project it is determined that connection between Bay Lake and Chocowinity Bay should not cause any adverse water quality impacts. Due to the fragile nature of Taylor Creek, it is staff recommendation that, all boat traffic be routed through the existing canal system and man -made openings to Taylor Creek be restricted to boats by the use of pilings.
