Camp Johnson BEQ between Wilson Dr and Hoover Rd (P-1319)
Stormwater Permit No. SW8 120101
Onslow County
Dear Mr. Baker:
Dee Freeman
Secretary
On October 5, 2012, the Wilmington Regional Office received a complete request to revise the
approved plans for Stormwater Management Permit Number SW8 120101. The revisions
include an alteration to the layout of the sidewalk, amphitheater, and parking lot resulting in the
construction of 9,615 square feet of additional impervious area. Accordingly, this plan revision
reduces the allocated future impervious area from 50,000 square feet to 40,385 square feet. It
has been determined that a formal permit modification is not required for the proposed changes.
We are forwarding you an approved copy of the revised plans for your files. Please replace the
old approved plan sheets with the new ones.
Please be aware that all terms and conditions of the permit issued on January 24, 2012,
remain in full force and effect. Please also understand that the approval of this revision to
the approved plans for the subject State Stormwater Permit is done on a case -by -case
basis. Any other changes to this project must be approved through this Office prior to
construction. The issuance of this plan revision does not preclude the permittee from
complying with all other applicable statutes, rules, regulations or ordinances which may
have jurisdiction over the proposed activity, and obtaining a permit or approval prior to
construction.
If you have any questions concerning this matter, please do not hesitate to call Georgette Scott
or me at (910) 796-7215.
Sincerely,
Christine Nelson

Gentlemen,
In going through the plan revision submittal, I found that the plan sheet IMP also needed to be updated to reflect the
proposed changes. Everything else looked ok to me. Please get 2 updated IMP plan sheets to me by Tuesday.

Plan Revision (SW8 120 10 1)
Onslow Countv
CSD Project No. 11-0239
Dear Christine:
The enciosed revision is for a change in the layout of the sidewalk and amphitheater located on the southern side of the
building. The placement straightened out the run of sidewalk but increased the impervious from what was originally
stated on the permit. There was also a change with the medians in the parking tot. They were originally counted as
pervious but they will be painted medians so the numbers for asphalt needed to be changed. The permit has future BUA
so the increase in impervious will be subtracted from the future BUA. With the increase of 9,615 sf of impervious the
new future BUA allocated for the permit will be 40,385 sf. Enclosed please find the following items.
- two (2) copies of the revised application page. 3
- two (2) copies of sheets C-130, C-121-122, Drainage Area and Project Limits
- $500 application fee, check# 1035
- Plan revision application
Please call if you have any questions.

Total project area shall be calculated to exclude the followin the normal pool of imVVounded structures, the area
between the banks of streams and rivers, the area below the ormal High Water (NHW) line or Mean High Water
(MHW) line, and coastal wetlands landward from the NHW (or MHW) line. The resultant project area is used to
calculate overall percent built upon area (BUA). Non -coastal wetlands landward of the NHW (or MHW) line may be
included in the total project area.

Janet,
Attached please find an express request for a plan revision. They've changed the location of the sidewalk and
amphitheater for this project and this increased the impervious slightly. This permit has future BUA which we'll subtract
the increase from.
