Permanent stream impacts are due to rip rap bank stabilization that
was needed. Once construction began it was apparent that the new
Bent 1 piles would be very near the streambank. The rip rap bank
stabilization was needed to prevent future widening of the stream
due to the streambank being weakened at the pile locations and to

correct the past erosion of the streambank. Wetland impacts are
caused by building a driveway to provide access for the property
owner at Station -L- 13+75, 501 to 751 left. The existing driveway is
right at the end of the existing bridge. Once the new bridge was
lenghtened the driveway had to be shifted. Construction of the
driveway will be completed to minimize the impacts to the wetland.
