Division of Water Resources' Central and Regional staff has reviewed the application package
received October 6, 2021. However, additional information is required before the review may be
completed. Please address the items on the attached pages no later than the close of business on January 3,
2022.
Please be aware that you are responsible for meeting all requirements set forth in North Carolina
rules and regulations. Any oversights that occurred in the review of the subject application package are
still the Applicant's responsibility. In addition, any omissions made in responding to the outstanding items

➢ Easement:
1. The supply and return lines carrying wastewater from the Carter residence to the treatment units
and the drip irrigation field (located on parcel no. 55499036170000) are crossing the parcel no.
55498193060000 which includes the proposed residence for Mr. and Mrs. Downey. At present
the easement is not required, but after the successful subdivision of parcel and the sale of
property, an easement signed by the new property owners, Mr. and Mrs. Downey, is required to
be submitted.

➢ Setback Waiver:
1. The setback waiver provided with the application has not been signed, notarized and registered
with the Cabarrus County Register of Deeds. At present this document is not required, but after
the successful subdivision of parcel and the sale of property to Mr. and Mrs. Downey, in
accordance with 15A NCAC 02T .0606(c), please submit the appropriate setback waiver
(FORM: NDWSW) that has been notarized, signed by all parties involved and recorded with
the County Register of Deeds. Waivers involving the compliance boundary shall be in
accordance with 15A NCAC 02L .0107.
